§ About
The long version, honestly told.
I'm Anthony. I started writing code at thirteen, started writing essays at nineteen, and the two have been arguing inside my head ever since.
Today I run evav, a small research lab focused on agents that hold real memory and reason across long horizons. We publish, we open-source, and we try very hard not to confuse loudness with progress.
Outside of that I read a lot of fiction, drink too much coffee, and care about the quiet craftsmanship of tools that get out of your way.
Currently
- Writing about evaluation theatre
- Maintaining the evav MCP server
- Re-reading Borges. Again.

§ Principles
A few things I believe.
Taste is a research method.
If you can't tell when something is ugly, you can't tell when it's wrong.
Memory before scale.
Models that remember beat models that are merely larger.
Ship small things often.
A tool used by ten people teaches more than a paper read by a thousand.
Write to think.
An essay is a debugger for your own head.
